If I’m not mistaken, this is my first engagement photography blog live from the road. The wedding photography road, that is… which tonight finds me in Highlands, NC for the first of three weddings in three days. After scheduling this triumvirate of late April weddings, somehow all three engagement sessions were pushed right up against their corresponding wedding dates, into early April. So tonight I blog from the road.
The last of my three April engagement shoots took me to Roswell Mill Park, which has a beautiful waterfall, scenic woods, a rustic old bridge, a historic mill, etc. etc… pretty much everything you could want in an engagement location.
Ryan and Kristin are both artists in their respective fields, which is always nice, as I tend to connect well with my fellow artists right off the bat. Ryan and Kristin were no exception and we had a really enjoyable afternoon exploring the park, avoiding a pack of unruly teenagers, and talking wedding and food photography (Ryan is an amazing chef, and I don’t drop that praise lightly… I sample a lot of food out in the food photography world).
I’m off to bed. Wedding in the morning. I know people are here more for the photos than the prose anyway!
